With the weather changing soon and so many fall outdoor activities still being limited due to COVID, sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands to bring the fun and joy into YOUR very own neighborhood!
Here are some pretty neat ideas to build community and get out of the house to have some good ol’ fashioned fun with the family!
Pro Tip: Definitely make use of those cell phone cameras to show proof of your findings. You can do it just for fun, or involve prizes and awards!
Pro Tip: Bonus points for leaving a hand sanitizing station out for participants!
Ask if the food truck takes pre-orders. This way, families can just take a leisurely walk to the food truck, pick up their food (contactless) and go.
Encourage a cash-less system so that there is less contact.
Set expectations with the food truck that all their employees must wear masks and gloves at all times.
Remind residents that this is a grab-and-go event and not to congregate in close proximity to each other.

PROMOTE! PROMOTE! PROMOTE! Help encourage the community to come out and support local small businesses while enjoying something different and yummy right in their own neighborhood 🙂 A great way to do this is to create a Facebook event in your neighborhood FB group, emails, posters, mailers, and word of mouth.
And we would love nothing more than to bring Trixie, our cute cupcake truck and all her yummy goodies, to your neck of the woods. Check out our drool-worthy menu and let’s set up a date!
Oh, and did we mention, residents can CUSTOMIZE their cupcakes however they want?! Yup! A one-of-a-kind experience… and that means YOU’LL be a hero!
